The Altadena Town Council receives monthly Public Safety Reports from the major public safety agencies covering the Altadena area. We receive these updates from each agency about the preceding month at most meetings. We will be posting these reports in an effort to give our community more information. The following reports have been given from the following agencies:

LA County Fire

Highlights: 310 total responses, 253 patients seen on site, 195 patients transported to local area hospitals
Fires (3 total): 1 vehicle, 1 trash, 1 structure
Damage: Property – $10,000, Contents – $10,000
Other: 5 hazardous conditions, 9 traffic collisions (2 involving pedestrians)

LA County Sheriff – Altadena Station

Highlights: Overall increase in crime month-to-month (43 in March, 49 in April), Most substantial increase in residential burglaries (4 in March, 12 in April) and larceny: vehicle burglaries (6 in March, 13 in April).

Other: A total of 6 juveniles were involved in residential burglaries.

Highlights: 22 property damage, 5 injury-related, 2 DUI arrests.
