The Altadena Town Council receives monthly Public Safety Reports from the major public safety agencies covering the Altadena area. We receive these updates from each agency about the preceding month at most meetings. We will be posting these reports in an effort to give our community more information. The following reports have been given from the following agencies:

LA County Fire

Highlights: 352 total responses, 302 patients seen on site, 235 patients transported to local area hospitals
Fires (5 total): 1 vehicle, 2 trash, 1 brush, 1 structure
Damage: Property – $15,000, Contents – $2000
Other: 5 hazardous conditions, 5 traffic collisions (1 involving pedestrians)

LA County Sheriff – Altadena Station

Highlights: Overall decrease in crime month-to-month (49 in January, 35 in February), Most substantial decrease in residential burglaries (12 in January, 5 in February) and larceny (20 in January, 14 in February.

California Highway Patrol

Highlights: 22 total traffic collisions, 8 property damage, 9 injury-related, 0 DUI arrests, 5 hit and runs.
Enforcement: 12 traffic citations issued, 1 grand theft auto, 1 domestic violence.
