The Altadena Town Council receives monthly Public Safety Reports from the major public safety agencies covering the Altadena area. We receive these updates from each agency about the preceding month at most meetings. We will be posting these reports in an effort to give our community more information. The following reports have been given from the following agencies:

LA County Fire

Highlights: 347 responses, 283 patients seen, Property Damage: $28,000 (2 vehicles)

With the recent natural disasters in the local area and throughout the state, the LA County Fire department encourages residents to opt-in to receive automatic and geomapped alerts. Landline telephones are already registered. Residents can give up to 5 points of contact and register at the website Alert.LACounty.Gov.

LA County Sheriff – Altadena Station

Highlights: Overall decrease in crime month-to-month (47 in August, 43 in September), Most substantial decrease in residential burglaries (9 in August, 3 in September)

California Highway Patrol

Highlights: 28 traffic collisions (23 property only, 5 injuries, 0 DUI), 2 other DUI arrests
