About this event
The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation is holding online workshops to learn about how and why people who live in different parts of LA County access regional recreation sites like parks, beaches, lakes, natural areas, open spaces, gardens, and trails.
Additionally, we would like to hear from people who live in the rural communities in LA County about how they access and use local parks. The information shared in these workshops will help to inform planning and funding for existing and future facilities.
This is one of 11 online workshops. Each workshop will focus on regional parks and open spaces located within a specific part of LA County. Workshops in regions that include rural communities will also include a discussion of local park needs.
This workshop is open to all County residents but will focus on West San Gabriel Valley. It will take place on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 from 6:00PM to 7:30PM on Zoom. If you are unsure of which workshop to attend or would like to attend multiple workshops, please visit the LA County Parks website here.
All workshops will be held over Zoom with closed captions and interpretation in Spanish. If you need language interpretation or additional accommodations to participate in the workshops, please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org Spanish interpretation and closed captioning will be provided.
