Next Phase of Construction Activity to Begin along Washington Boulevard

Construction for the Altadena Drive and Washington Boulevard Roadway Improvements Project continues to progress along Washington Boulevard.

Crews recently completed reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps and bus pads on the roadway between N. Grand Oaks Avenue and east of Del Rey Avenue.  Beginning on July 15, crews will begin the reconstruction of the roadway pavement between Bellford Avenue and N Grand Oaks Avenue.

During construction, please slow down, be alert, obey all posted traffic signs and allow for extra travel time. Your patience, cooperation, and understanding are appreciated as we revitalize this corridor.

• Pavement reconstruction activities will take place along Washington Boulevard between Bellford Avenue and N. Grand Oaks Avenue.

Work to be Completed:

• Crews will be reconstructing the roadway pavement.

What to Expect:

• Single lane closures and parking restrictions within the immediate work area
• Driveway access will not be available while roadway reconstruction is in progress in front of the driveway. Access will be provided before and after construction hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
• Work will focus on one side of the street, then the other, and finally, the middle section of the street. On-street parking will be available on one side of Washington Boulevard at all times.

• Working hours are weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Anticipated completion: End of August
