Make the Connection at Metro’s 7th Annual Older Adult Transportation Expo taking place at the Pasadena Convention Center. Whether you are new to public transportation or a seasoned traveler, the event will provide an opportunity to learn  about new programs and services to help you travel on public transit with ease.

Pasadena, 91101Pasadena Convention Center is a half a mile walk from Metro’s L Line (Gold) Memorial Park Station. Free shuttles will be available at the station, sponsored by Pasadena Transit.
*Metro will NOT provide parking validation.

Free continental breakfast, lunch and giveaways will be provided to registered attendees. All Metro events are accessible to persons with disabilities. ADA accommodations and translation are available by calling 213.922.2299 at least 72 hours in advance.

Metro Invites You to Participate in The Telephone Town Hall on March 28

Metro invites the public to provide feedback about the agency’s Fiscal Year 2024 Budget process during a live, interactive Telephone Town Hall on Tuseday, March 28, from 6PM to 7PM.

Metro encourages all Angelenos to provide input on funding for Metro projects and programs including Metro’s reimagined public safety, cleaning efforts, and service enhancements.  Staff will be on hand to provide information about these and ongoing projects such as the Purple Line Extension and East San Fernando Valley Lines. Public participation is important to ensure that the needs and priorities of the public are reflected in the FY24 budget.

LA County Safe Streets Demonstration Project:

Loma Alta Park “Pop-Up Sidewalk” Demonstration Project Activates with Community Walk, Saturday, 4/10, 10AM-12N

SPRING INTO PARKS! Be a part of the first ever Community Walk in the Park.  Activate the Pop-Up Sidewalk at Loma Alta Park, Saturday, April 10th from 10AM-12PM Bring your walking shoes, meet us at the Sunset Ridge Parking Lot as LA County Public Works and the Altadena Town Council Safe Streets Committee work together to activate the first of its kind, Pop Up Sidewalk Demonstration Project to provide safe space for pedestrian movement around the park in response to and during COVID restrictions.  LA County Public Works has implemented a signing and striping expanded sidewalk demonstration project for roadside safety features along Loma Alta Drive and Sunset Ridge Road and consider future solutions promote safety timely as LA County Parks works to return children and families to parks safely. Talk a walk and provide your feedback for street safety around our parks.
