The Altadena Town Council receives monthly Public Safety Reports from the major public safety agencies covering the Altadena area. We receive these updates from each agency about the preceding month at most meetings. We will be posting these reports in an effort to give our community more information. The following reports have been given from the following agencies:

LA County Fire

Highlights: 291 total responses, 237 patients seen on site, 188 patients transported to local area hospitals
Fires (7 total): 1 structure, 3 cooking, 3 other
Damage: Property – $5,000, Contents – $20,000
Other: 6 hazardous conditions, 11 traffic collisions (0 involving pedestrians)

LA County Sheriff – Altadena Station

Highlights: Overall crime month-to-month stayed about the same (49 in April, 48 in May), most substantial increase in grand theft auto (5 in April, 11 in May), most substantial decrease in residential burglaries (12 in April, 7 in May)
