The City of Pasadena and the Black History Planning Committee are pleased to announce the 42nd annual Black History Parade and Festival on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with the theme “Past, Present, Future: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Jackie Robinson.”
The parade begins at Fair Oaks Avenue and Mountain View Street and ends at Robinson Park, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave., where the festival takes place from noon to 4 p.m. Grand Marshals include: Danny J Bakewell, Jr., as Parade Grand Marshal; Michael Jai White and Gillian White as Celebrity Grand Marshals; Pastor William Turner Jr. as Community Grand Marshal; and the Rose Court as Youth Grand Marshals.
