Los Angeles County Public Works is applying for the SCAG Sustainable Communities Program grant to create an active transportation plan (ATP) for the Altadena community.
The ATP would create a plan to address infrastructure gaps, safety concerns, and increase connectivity and mobility within the Altadena community.
We would like to invite you to attend a community outreach event on Thursday, October 29 at 6 p.m. to hear your feedback and any questions / concerns you may have that can assist us in creating an effective active transportation plan for the Altadena community.
Some projects of the Safe Streets Committee have included Safe Routes to Schools and community partnerships – Enjoy the Walk to School Day video at Jackson Elementary. A true collaboration in the Fall of 2018. Let’s keep the momentum going!
