Visit LA County Sustainability Table at Descanso Gardens October 15 between 10AM-2PM to learn more.

Los Angeles County Sustainability Office is sponsoring a pop-up table on Open Admissions Day for Descanso Gardens on October 15th from 10am-2pm.  Participate and learn more about a recent invasive species that decimates oak trees. Gold Spotted Oak Borers are already found in more than one location in the County and early detection will be a strong factor in containing it from spreading to the wonderful oaks in our area.

The objective of the LA County Oak Tree Ordinance is to preserve and maintain healthy oak trees in the development process. Please take 5 to 10 minutes to fill out about 25 questions to help inform the countywide update.
