Now Accepting Applications for Census Tract 4612
Term Ending: 2026
Dear Altadena Resident,
The Altadena Town Council (ATC) is now accepting applications for a Special Election to fill a vacancy for Census Tract 4612, with a term ending in 2026.
The ATC is a volunteer body that serves as a bridge between the Altadena community and Los Angeles County agencies. We advocate for local needs and provide a forum for public dialogue on important civic matters, including public safety, infrastructure, land use, and community development.
As a Councilmember, you will:
- Represent your census tract at monthly Town Council meetings
- Hear regular reports from law enforcement and community partners
- Respond to resident questions and concerns
- Share timely updates and connect constituents with relevant agencies and resources
About Census Tract 4612
This central east section of Altadena is:
- Bordered on the west by Lake Avenue
- Bordered on the east by Eaton Canyon and Altadena Drive
- Bordered on the south by New York Drive
- Bounded on the north by Mendocino Street, continuing along Allen, Glen Terrace, Midlothian, and crossing Glen Canyon

- Announcement Date: June 17, 2025
- Application Deadline: Friday, July 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM
- Candidate Presentations & Council Vote: Tuesday, July 15, 2025 during the regular ATC meeting

- A $35.00 application fee (check or money order payable to Altadena Town Council)
